I have two Kayaks. I’m based on the Mooloolaba Canals. For use, to go around the Mooloolaba Wharf, up to the river mouth, explore up the river. The aren’t as stable as a canoe, but they are pretty fast. I would expect to get a wet butt, and if you haven’t got balance you could fall in. I have put the day rate as $30 for 2. I’m make it super cheap so it’s accessible to anyone, but please take care of them, because just the paddles are $100 each. I’d like to say this day rate is for the same day, not overnight. I’m usually up early, so you can do sunrise or sunset. Could be a fun way to catch up with a friend, or adventure with your partner. They have foot peddles for a rudder. They have water tight compartments, but it’s the whole inside area of kayak so I would bring a bag if you wanted to use it. These are adult size, one has a seat that is adjustable for someone a bit shorter.
